Interesting Factoid

Tom Skilling, our revered weatherman, says we've only had 11 minutes of sun so far in February.

That's ELEVEN MINUTES! And I was probably sitting in the office during that whole sun-shiney event and missed it.

I think the sun actually came out this morning for a few minutes when I was out driving. That must be the 11 minutes he was talking about. I need sun!

What was that?

Were you saying something?

Sorry... I had my head in the oven.

We had 11 hours of it today. Put sunscreen on Michael for his soccer game this afternoon.
(i.e. come and visit us in AZ!)

HA! Thanks for rubbing it in, Sheri!

The sun did come out today -- all day long. But it's about -2 degrees outside. sigh.

Hi Karen, this is Kristin (from irishopian) I found your sweet comments about our new daughter and wanted to let you know how long it took. We had our referral for her in just under 5 months. If you are looking for a 4 - 6 year old girl you should have a referral very quickly. There are some beautiful older kids waiting right now although they are all boys.I was reading some of your blog and I am not sure why they told you it would take so long for your homestudy to be done. I wouldn't expect it to take any longer then 3 months... email me if you have any more questions, I would be glad to help if I can.
